Code of Conduct

All organizers, speakers and participants should at all times:

  1. Act ethically and with integrity.

  2. Acknowledge that our community is multi-ethnic and multi-cultural. Any racist, sexist, discriminatory or otherwise offensive comments are not accepted.

  3. Help building a culture of robust discussion, honesty and mutual respect.

  4. Respect the intellectual property of others, including the copyright of given presentations and papers.

  5. Act as fair competitors and business partners. It is not permitted to engage in price fixing, bid rigging, allocation of markets or customers, or similar illegal anti-competitive activities.

  6. Disclose any private or other interests that may impact on their role and take all reasonable steps to manage any relevant conflicts of interest or duty that might arise.

  7. Ensure that they do not receive inappropriate financial benefit or receive any other inappropriate material benefit for themselves, their family or friends as a consequence of their role.

  8. Be transparent and accountable towards their actions and decisions and justify their decisions when needed, unless a person's privacy or the greater public good requires that confidentiality be maintained.

  9. Ensure that other organizers, speakers and participants follow the code of conduct.

Sponsors are also subject to the anti-harassment policy. In particular, sponsors should not use sexualised images, activities, or other material.
